"The Waterline"

UK-Based Producer with his slightly melancholy and forlorn track. Pensive chill-out, all the way.

Next on Real Balearic we hitch our wagon to UK based producer Aaron Taylor and his Ambray project. "Waterline" features a slightly dark, deep, brooding male vocal. Its "thoughtful chill" all the way with this one folks.
The original centers around the vocal and supports the underlying melancholy and forlornness to fine effect. It's the mood that makes this track. Dreamy pads and walking piano lines power the musicality while a motorik beat keeps things anchored pensively.
For the remix we are off to Leeds, UK. Very un-balearic indeed. Resident, Joe Morris has emerged as one of the leading Balearic producers around at the moment . Here we tap into his flow with his fine rework. He keeps the piano but takes the drums in a more electronic dimension. Long-noted bass synths, strummy chords and airy synths take the tune on delightful Balearic workout.
"Waterline" featured on the recent Real Ibiza 9 compilation CD.
